Chapter 2 and Mid-Year Exams

BRING YOUR NOTEBOOK & TEXTBOOK HOME TO STUDY.

Your chapter 2 exam covers 1896-1945, the Laurier era to WWII. This exam is scheduled for the end of January - close to the mid-year exam. But you already know this.  Upon our return, we still have these major topics to complete:
1. WWI, 1914-1918;
2. Mass culture;
3. Great Depression, 1929-1939;
4. WWII, 1939-1945.
You have LOTS of reviewing and studying already. Sorry. :(

MID-YEAR EXAM: FEBRUARY 4, 2:00, in the cafeteria
ABSENCE = 0
-chapter 1 & 2 (1840-1945)
-18 regular short-answer questions (19 marks)
-1 long answer question (choice of one "aspect" of society) (8 marks)
-1 two-paragraph "essay" (8 marks)
