Dec. 14-18: Mid-chapter test, finish WWI, start the "Roaring" 20s.

Monday: 
-revisit topics (from Thursday's online class) & review WWI topics (review question posted on google classroom)
-Due: map of Europe pre-WWI in booklet; complete questions 1-3... or beyond...

Mid-chapter test: -9 questions based on documents (Laurier era, 2nd phase, urbanization, women...) -3 short answer questions (quiz-type)(social change, WWI) =20 marks (about 10-15% of term 1).

-1 document about conscription;
-WWI review questions.

-immigration: gov't measures, rise of xenophobia and its effect on gov't policy, result on Canada's territory

3. Notes: Laurier's domestic policy (fill-in-the-blank notes, p. 4)

Period 2: History 02
1. Review the Laurier era:

Nov. 2-6: National Policy Essay (Tues.) and finish Chapter 1; lots of test info, (Nov. 10)

Monday:

Tuesday:
-Notes: the place of the Catholic church in Quebec society
-red & blue groups: National Policy essay (three paragraphs)
